How to get there.

The nearest international airport to Verbier is Geneva, but Turin, Zürich or even Milan are only an hour further away. The last big town with a railway station is Martigny which has a direct connection from Geneva.
From Martigny it's either a car or a train up the valley in the direction of the Grand St. Bernard until you get to Sembrancier. If you're taking the car from the direction of Italy you should come over the Grand Saint Bernard pass. Avoid the tunnel and save money to feed the dog. From Sembrancier the road will take you up to Verbier, carry on into the centre of town, follow the signs to the golf course and voila there are the familiar attrapments of the golf course in front of you.
